ABBIGAIL

Abbigail was repossed from her adopter on July 11th 2006 for numerous violations
of our adoption contract
Abbigail still has her sweet lovable personality and was examined by Dr. Brian
immediately
upon arriving back at CODA.
Abbigail's teeth have been badly neglected during her 16 month adoption
Abbigail also has some skin issues which she is being treated for currently
Abbigail has several warts which are located on the top of her head and tip
of her nose which her adopter failed
to have taken care of that presented post adoption.
Dr. Brian will be scheduling Abbigail for wart removal surgery and a dental
as soon as he
returns from his vacation the last week of July
We brushed Abbigails teeth thoroughly after giving her a good bath and that
helped remove a lot of the
built up tartar but she has one area with serious decay and will require removal
of one or two of her teeth
Abbigail is doing well since her return and Abbigail and Shirley have become
friends
and love cuddling up together in Shirley's crate at night to sleep.
Abbigail is currently on antibiotic treatments for her skin and teeth and
the warts
UPDATED PHOTO'S SOON

Abbigail is in need of an URGENT TUMOR REMOVAL and Biopsy
Abbigail has a mammory tumor and a needle biopsy we did for Abbigail when
she first arrived
indicated that the tumor needed to be removed and a full biospy needs to be
done also.
This surgery and biopsy is going to cost approximately $200 and needs to be
done as soon as possible
To determine if the tumor is cancerous and if the cancer has spread to any
other part of her body
Your help is urgently needed even if you can only afford to donate $5 or
10. Every donation will
help us to help Abbigail get her much needed surgery and biopsy
Abbigal is such a sweet and loving dog
Please help us to get Abbigail the much needed tumor removal surgery and full
biopsy.
UPDATE:
Abbigail had her tumor removal surgery today thanks to some wonderful people
who contributed financially so that we could help Abbigail
Abbigail actually had 3 tumors that were removed today during her surgery
so her surgery ran us more than expected.
Abbigail had two tumors on her upper chest/mammary area and another tumor
on her lower abdomen
We also had Abbigail tested for Thyroid problems as Dr. Bob thought there
was an indication that a thyroid condition
might have been contributing to her problems of excess fatty tissue on her
chest area and suggested at T-4 Thyroid test be done for Abbigail
Abbigail is back with her foster mom and doing well after the surgery.
Many thanks to
PAWS of Guilford IN
&
Heather Davis of Akron OH
for donating the funds needed for Abbigails surgery
We should know the results of her biopsy and thyroid tests within a few days.
Keep Abbigail in your prayers we are hoping to hear that the tumors are benign.
UPDATE:
Abbigails biopsy results are in and all the tumors were benign. Abbigails
T-4 Thyroid test was negative.
What wonderful news all her tumors were just fatty tumors and there is no
cancer present.
