How is the Economy affecting your pets?
We are a special needs NO KILL animal rescue
We rescue special needs dogs from Kill Shelters Nationwide
We utilize special needs experienced foster homes across the country
to help us save special needs dogs
The special needs dogs are then socialized, trained
and given all the love and proper care they need
to become a loving family member in their permanent new homes
_______________________________________________
We do not follow the shelter/kennel model for rescue.
When adopting a dog from a shelter or a rescue
who board their dogs in kennels or cages
or have their dogs fostering in prison's using "cell dog "training
programs,
you have no idea how the dog will react to living in a family and home enviroment.
Our dogs all live in loving home enviroments while in our care
so we get to know each individual dog personally
and can be sure to match each dog to the best family for that particular dog
__________________________________________________
When you adopt a dog from CODA
you will be fully aware of all personality traits, training levels, issues
or physical
or health problems so that you can be sure you are adopting a dog
that is the perfect match for your family
and so we are sure you are the best possible home for the dog.

In Greece they have a saying: "when your garden is thirsty, you do not
water
foreign gardens".
Charity starts at home. Help the animals in need here in the U.S.A.
C.O.D.A.purchased an additional lot of land in the summer
of 2007 ,adjacent to our main foster facility
The additional land enables us to have a larger play/exercise area for the
rescue dogs
and enables us to provide more shelter/feeding areas for the stray/feral/homeless
cats in the area also
This land purchase will also give us the room for future building of a facility
to house more rescued special needs dogs
OUR HOPE IS TO USE THIS LAND AS A SPECIAL NEEDS OFF LEASH DOG PARK/PLAY CENTER
for area Deaf and Blind dogs and to hold training, education, and socialization/play-
outdoor sessions
for special needs dogs and their owners here in the Cleveland area.
The CODA DOG PARK is being built using green technology and our goal is to
convert the land
to an Eco Friendly area for all the local wildlife which is so desperately
needed here in the inner city.
WE NEED YOUR HELP IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO PURCHASE
ADDITIONAL MATERIALS TO COMPLETE THE POND IN THE SUMMER OF 2011
THE ENTIRE DOG PARK IS NOW FENCED IN WITH 6' STOCKADE FENCE
AND THE RESCUE ANIMALS ARE TOTALLY ENJOYING THEIR PLAYTIME
AND EXERCISE TIME IN THE NEW C.O.D.A DOG PARK
WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF BUILDING A LARGE SWIMMING POND FOR THE DOGS
WHICH WILL ALSO SERVE AS A SOURCE OF FRESH WATER FOR LOCAL WILDLIFE
A LIVE VIDEO FEED COMING SOON SO EVERYONE CAN WATCH THE ANIMALS
ENJOYING THE DOG PARK DAILY
Thanks to Joanne Cook from Pittsburg PA
for donating two agility jumps for the dogs and some outdoor dog toys
Thank you to Moira Ryan of Parma Ohio for donating weave poles and jumps.
