Gizmo is a Cairn Terrier
Gizmo can see and hear fine
Gizmo was saved from The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter in Cleveland Ohio
Gizmo was picked up roaming stray in Cleveland Ohio by the City of Cleveland Kennel
Gizmo remained at the City Kennel for a week and was then transfered to the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter
Gizmo remained at the CCAS for 3 weeks and was in need of a good grooming he was not showing well at the shelter due to slight food aggression issues and at the kennel the food dish is directly in the front of the kennel so everytime anyone
approached Gizmo's cage he growled protecing his food. Once out of his cage he was a total sweetheart.
Gizmo's owners never reclaimed him so the CCAS asked CODA to rescue Gizmo since he had been at the Shelter for so long and the Shelter is currently getting in a lot of dogs each week

Gizmo is a wonderful little guy who weighs in at a whopping 14lbs
Gizmo is housebroken and walks perfectly on a leash
Gizmo knows the command "sit" and rides perfectly in cars and loves looking out the window
Gizmo will give kisses when he's asked and loves to wag his tail and is fine with cats and other dogs

Gizmo has a super personality

Gizmo is approximately 9-10 years old and has a life expectency of 14-15 years of age
So Gizmo has plenty of living left to do!
Gizmo is in good health and is spayed and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Gizmo smelled horrible when he left the Animal Shelter and loved his first grooming session here at CODA

Gizmo's fecal test was negative for any parastites and his heartworm test results were negative also!.
Gizmo's heart was also checked and is in excellent condition.
Gizmo is going to make some very lucky person a wonderful companion for years to come.

Someone at sometime did train and socialize Gizmo and he reflects that in his behaviour
Gizmo will make some lucky family a very loving companion!

Gizmo was very happy to get out of the Animal Shelter after being there for 4 weeks.
The farther away we drove the more Gizmo smiled and wagged his tail.
Imagine a month stuck in a cage at a kill shelter
Gizmo was very happy that CODA rescued him from the shelter!

We are seeking a home for Gizmo with another dog as a playmate and companion
Gizmo loves children also
A home with no children under the age of 8 years old.
Home with Cairn Terrier experience preferred but not mandatory

UPDATE

ADOPTED
Gizmo has been adopted by a wonderful family in Chesterland Ohio
Gizmo has a wonderful new fursister named Molly and four wonderful children whom he loves very much.
Gizmo even likes the families cat
