HANDSOME A FRIENDLY MALE CAT THAT FEEDS AT THE CODA FERAL FEEDING STATION APPEARS AT OUR DOOR
LOOKING DISORIENTED AND IN PAIN WITH ICE FROZEN ON HIS FACE AND SEVERE FROSTBITE ON HIS NOSE AND EARS
HANDSOME WAS ALSO SUFFERING FROM A SEVERE UPPER RESPITORY PNEUMONIA
WE IMMEDIATELY PICKED HANDSOME UP AND BROUGHT HIM INSIDE AND STARTED TO THAW HIM OUT
AND TREAT HIM WITH ANTIBIOTICS

HANDSOME WAS THEN RUSHED TO GATEWAY ANIMAL CLINIC FOR TREATMENT AT 8 AM 2.5.07
HANDSOME IS RESTING WELL BUT HAS SEVERE UPPER RESPITORY PNEUMONIA IN ADDITION TO SEVERE FROSTBITE ON
HIS NOSE AND EARS
Handsome tested negative for FIV/FIP/FLV

HANDSOME IS HIGHLY ADOPTABLE AND WAS VERY COOPERATIVE DURING HIS VET VISIT AND INTAKE

UPDATE 3/3/07

Handsome has completely recovered from his frost bite and pneumonia
He's also gained a few pounds while in quarantine and recovery and is nice and plump and healthy now
Handsome was neutered 2/26/07 and brought up to date on all his vaccinations

Handsome moved to our Parma Cat Foster home today and was very happy to be out of the quarantine crate
at our main foster facility and into a 3 level home where he can stretch out and get more exercise and love
and petting and spoiling from his foster parents Moira and Mark
Handsome's foster home has 2 other male neutered cats he is fine with and a small minature daschsund named Abbigail
who he is also very comfortable being around

Handsome's foster parents have been calling him " HOBBS" and he seems to like that name!
Handsome is litter box trained and is consistenly using the litter box at his foster home with no problems
Handsome loves to purr, cuddle, be held and petted and he LOVES to talk
Handsome is a really affectionate, loving, big , happy boy who is happiest cuddled up on your lap
Handsome is ready for his new forever family that will ensure he is never left outdoors again to
suffer near death experiences like frostbite and pneumonia ever again
